Established in B.E.2491, A.D.1947 by the late and renowned Ven. Lam Em.
Located in the center of Prey Nokor city (Presently Ho Chi Minh city), Kampuchea Krom (Presently Socialist Republic of Vietnam).
Prey Nokor is a former important Khmer seaport.

Wat Samborangsey
The oldest Khmer temple in Kampuchea Krom, age 1,638 as of B.E.2555, A.D.2011 Year of the Rabbit. Built in B.E.917 equivalent to A.D.373.
