Royal terms properly use for the Sangharaja (the Supreme Buddhist Patriarch). For example, His Holiness Samdech the Great Dr. Jotañāṇo (Birthname Chuon Nath), His Holiness Samdech Vajirapanno (Birthname Huot Tath), His Holiness Samdech Dr. Maha Ghosananda (H.H. Maha Ghosananda never used his birthname once he’d been ordained as a bhikkhu; according to the teachings of the Buddha, once a male individual leaves the household life, he is ordained as a bhikkhu, he no longer is known by his birthname. He would take up an ordained name given by his preceptor (Teacher who ordains him) called Upajjhāya in pali. The Buddhist monks (a sāmaṇera or a bhikkhu) no matter how many years he has been ordained or has been a monk, we must not address him in verbal, oral, writing, or printing as His Holiness; properly we address him as a sāmaṇera or a bhikkhu, venerable (Ven. in short), or bhante.
The term His Holiness is reserved for Sangharaja (the Supreme Buddhist Patriarch) of the country. Cambodia throughout the modern history has this honorific title for the highest bhikkhu/monk in the country.
Venerable Bhante should tell or teach the devotees or laypeople the correct term when the devotee or layperson speakស to you directly or about you or printing to avoid addressing you as Your Holiness or His Holiness because you are not holding the rank/position of sangharaja. Accepting as such can lead to monastic rule offense.
A bhikkhu, who holds an advsiory role to the sangharaja or honorary advisor cannot use royal terms either (unless there is a royal decree permitting to use).

Wat (Buddhist temple) is a place of worship and practicing the dhamma (the teachings of the Buddha) and not a place for practicing shamanic rituals, sorcery, spells, or superstitious incantations, black magic, voodoo,…
Superstition, black magic, voodoo,… the Buddha prohibits the Buddhist monks from learning, practicing it that will lead them away from sila (virtue, morality).
Superstition, black magic, voodoo,…is not Buddhism.
It’s called greed when a bhikkhu practices black magic, using Buddhism for commerce, business.
A bhikkhu who practices black magic commits an offense called pārājika*.
A bhikkhu has just a single rice bowl just as the feathery bird has a crop (food pouch) for survival.
The path to liberate yourself or oneself is virtue (sila), meditation (samādhi, vipassana), and wisdom (paññā).
*Pārājika refers to the four gravest offenses in the Buddhist monastic code (Vinaya), resulting in immediate, automatic, and irreversible expulsion from the Sangha. Known as “defeats,” these acts represent a total abandonment of the monkhood’s purpose. The four prohibitions are sexual intercourse, theft, killing, and falsely claiming superior spiritual attainments. The Four Pārājikas for Monks: Sexual Intercourse: Any sexual activity causes the loss of monkhood, regardless of sensation or circumstance. Theft: Stealing anything worth one pada (a measure of value) or more. Murder: Intentionally taking a human life, or encouraging someone to take their own life, or praising the beauty of death. False Spiritual Claims: Lying about one’s spiritual attainments, such as claiming to be an Arhat or to have attained higher meditation states (Jhanas) that one has not.

Do good deeds in order for others to remember your name.
Do good deeds in order to be respected by others.
Do good deeds in order to be called a benefactor/philanthropist
due to Avijjā, Lobha (Greed), Dosa (Hatred), Moha (Delusion).
Avijjā → Ignorance (not understanding reality, especially the nature of suffering and impermanence)
Lobha → Greed or Attachment (strong desire, craving, clinging)
Dosa → Hatred or Aversion (anger, ill will, rejection)
Moha → Delusion (confusion, misunderstanding, lack of clarity)
Together, lobha, dosa, moha are often called the “three poisons” in Buddhism, with avijjā (ignorance) as the deeper root underlying them all.

ការរៀនធ្វើ និង បដិបត្ដិសមាធិកម្មដ្ឋាន មិនត្រឹមតែជួយអភិវឌ្ឍខ្លួនឯងប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែថែមទាំងផ្តល់ប្រយោជន៍ដល់មនុស្សជាតិទាំងមូលផងដែរ មិនមែនត្រឹមតែជួយបងប្អូនជនរួមជាតិខ្មែរប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ។ សកម្មភាពនេះជាកុសលកម្មដ៏ប្រសើរ ដែលនាំមកនូវផលល្អដល់អ្នកប្រតិបត្តិ ហើយឥតអស់លុយទេ។
មនុស្សគ្រប់វ័យ និងគ្រប់ភេទ មិនថាជាភិក្ខុ សាមណេរ ឬគ្រហស្ថ (អ្នកគ្រប់គ្រងផ្ទះ)ក៏ដោយ សុទ្ធតែអាចសិក្សា និងបដិបត្ដិសមាធិកម្មដ្ឋានបាន ដើម្បីអប់រំ និងបណ្តុះបណ្តាលចិត្តឱ្យមានភាពស្ងប់ សុចរិត និងប្រកបដោយបញ្ញា។
ប្រសិនបើនរណាចេះធ្វើទាន (ឱ្យទាន) រួចហើយ លោកអ្នកសប្បុរសនោះគួរចាប់ផ្ដើមរក្សាសីល។ សីលមានច្រើនប្រភេទ ដូចជា សីលប្រាំ សីលប្រាំបី និងសីលដប់។ បន្ទាប់ពីស្ថិតក្នុងសីលបានល្អហើយ គួរសិក្សា និងអនុវត្តសមាធិ ហើយបន្តធ្វើបញ្ញាក្នុងវិស័យវិបស្សនា។
សីល សមាធិ បញ្ញា
ចំណែកនរណាដែលមិនទាន់ចេះធ្វើទាន គប្បីចាប់ផ្តើមឱ្យទានជាមុន ដោយរៀនលះបង់ចិត្តកំណាញ់ ពីព្រោះនៅពេលស្លាប់ទៅ បុគ្គលណាក៏មិនអាចនាំយកទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិ ឬវត្ថុអ្វីមួយទៅជាមួយបានឡើយ។
មេរបស់សមាធិ និង វិបស្សនាកម្មដ្ឋាន គឺព្រះពុទ្ធ ។
វិបស្សនាជាគូបដិបក្ខនឹងមោហៈ (សេចក្ដីល្ងង់, សេចក្ដីវង្វេង) ។
Samādhi (commonly translated as meditation)
The study and practice of Samādhi not only help develop oneself, but also benefit humanity as a whole, not merely fellow Khmer people. This practice is a noble and wholesome deed (kusala kamma) that brings beneficial results to those who undertake it, and it requires no financial expense.
People of all ages and genders — whether they are bhikkhus (monks), sāmaṇeras (novice monks), or laypeople (householders) — can study and practice Samādhi in order to educate, train, and cultivate the mind so that it becomes calm, virtuous, and endowed with wisdom.
If a person already understands and practices dāna (giving or generosity), that virtuous individual should begin observing Sīla (moral precepts). There are various levels of Sīla, such as the Five Precepts, Eight Precepts, and Ten Precepts. After becoming well established in Sīla, one should study and practice Samādhi, and then continue developing Paññā (wisdom) through the practice of Vipassanā (insight meditation).

As for those who have not yet learned to practice dāna, they should begin by cultivating generosity and learning to let go of stinginess, for when death comes, no one can take wealth or material possessions along with them.
The Buddha is the supreme teacher of Samādhi and Vipassanā.
Vipassanā is a practice that directly opposes moha — delusion, ignorance, confusion, and the failure to perceive reality as it truly is. Through the practice of Vipassanā, a person can gradually develop wisdom and progressively eradicate ignorance (avijjā).

The Kiryvongsa Bopharam Buddhist Temple, the Peace Meditation Center will hold the Visakha Puja to commemorate the three auspicious events of the Buddha: His Birth, the Awakening (Enlightenment), and Mahaparinibbana (Passing or Death). Visakha Puja is an extremely important day in the Buddhist tradition.
